In November 2019, I joined a collective project at Métal 57, the BNP Paribas Real Estate headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt. The building, first imagined by Claude Vasconi as a Renault workshop in the 1980s and later reworked by Dominique Perrault, already carried that tension between industry and reinvention in its bones. Our 4-meter mural was made for that exact moment of transition. I wanted the work to feel like a hinge, holding onto the rough memory of the place while opening it toward a more shared and living future.
