In this 2020 portrait of Sofia Zobel Elizalde, I wanted to catch the lively force she brings wherever she goes. Her elegance is real, but what stayed with me most was her movement, her brightness, and the way a life in the arts leaves its own rhythm in a room. I used bold strokes and a generous palette so the painting could hold that energy without losing her grace.
