Carnaval de la Plaine

At the Carnaval de la Plaine, I saw a man climb a lamppost and show his backside while people danced around a fire below. Marseille can turn absurd, unruly, and alive in one second, and that is exactly the ground I like to paint on. I let the paint bleed and kick until the whole scene felt like one vibrating muscle.
