About this work
This painting started from V64, the underground art squat in Bangkok, a place with dirt under its nails and real freedom in the air. I put a child on a scooter at the center because that kind of movement and youth felt honest beside the looming face of a retouched George Washington from the hundred-dollar bill. The canvas became a collision between street life and global power, the fragile pulse of a city trying to breathe under the shadow of money.
